LocBlock is designed with privacy as a priority. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is stored only on your device:

Location Data: GPS coordinates of your designated "focus locations" - used solely to trigger automatic app blocking when you enter these areas.
App Blocking Preferences: List of apps you choose to block, manual lock preferences, custom location names, and radius settings.
App Usage Data: Break timer history and lock/unlock events - stored securely on-device to power future premium insights.

Data We Do NOT Collect

How We Use Your Information

All data processing happens locally on your iPhone:

Location Data: Used to determine when you enter/exit your designated focus locations and automatically apply app blocking rules.

Focus History: Stored locally to enable premium insights without ever leaving your iPhone.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored using iOS standard secure storage (UserDefaults and Keychain)
No data is sent to external servers
No cloud backup of location data
Data is encrypted by iOS when your device is locked
We have no access to your data

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

Remove Individual Items: Delete locations or clear blocked app selections directly inside LocBlock.
Delete App: Uninstalling LocBlock permanently deletes all stored data.
iOS Settings: Reset Location & Privacy in iOS Settings if needed.

Third-Party Services

LocBlock uses the following Apple frameworks:

Apple Family Controls (Screen Time API): Used to enforce app blocking
Apple Core Location: Used for geofencing and location-based blocking

These are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. No data is shared with Apple beyond standard iOS functionality.

Children's Privacy
